I started taking Maca on March 30, 2009.

I take the powder form by MacaMagic (I actually bought it off of Amazon from seller "Nutricity" because it was A LOT cheaper that way......$30 for a bag that will last us a few months!)

I put 3 tsp. of the Maca powder into a smoothie that I make for DH and I every morning. (1.5 tsp each)

I ovulated for the first time EVER that I know of since conceiving my son 13 years ago on CD 55......7 days after starting the Maca!!!! (I have PCOS and am TOTALLY annovulatory)

Benefits that we noticed from the Maca (besides ovulation) within the first week of taking it....

Me:
Appropriate CM at the right times (i.e. EWCM during fertile time)
More appropriate appetite (i.e. not ravenous hunrgy and then gorging....but instead moderate hunger at meal times and fuller sooner....no going back for seconds.)
More aroused sexually. Stronger, more intense and quicker to occure O's.
More energy. Not exhausted in the afternoons/evenings....but not jittery either.
Temps not so jagged on my FF chart.

DH:
More mental clarity.
More energy.
More sexual stamina and stronger, more intense O's.
Higher volume ejaculate.

If I recall, I started taking Maca just a couple of days before Jill.

She posted on the forum about Maca and how she had ordered some, I did some quick research and decided to place my own order THANKS JILL! BTW, I take Maca in a capsule, not powdered like Jill...but I believe that they are equally effective....just a personal preference

Like Jill, I have PCOS and am COMPLETELY ANNOVULATORY, however, I ovulated after taking Maca and am currently in the 2ww (6dpo to be exact!)

So, after taking Maca for a few weeks, I have a noticeable increase in my energy level...I'm staying up about 2 hrs later each nite than I was prior to taking Maca..

I just feel better. Sex feels better. The Big O feels better, Maca just makes things BETTER!!

I started Maca on March 27th, I don't chart or opk. AF showed on time 8 days later, now I'm on cd11 and am getting ewcm. I've also been very cold the past year and a half, always needing a sweater even when its warm out. I've noticed the past ten days, I've been having hot flashes and staying warm all the time--hoping this is a good thing! I'm taking capsules equalling 1000mg a day. I am a pretty good O'er by progesterone levels, but no bfp after 30 months leads me to believe there is a problem with egg release. Hoping maca does the trick!

I've been taking 1000mg a day (2capsules) for a week now and have noticed I'm not as tired anymore come 10pm and I also feel I'm sleeping better too. I've also noticed that my Big O is more intense. I just hope this helps in bringing on AF being that I'm on cd60!

Oh no! Did they say when/if it would be back in stock? You were getting the powder like me, right? You can go directly to the MacaMagic website and get it from them.....its just a little more expensive.

By the way, how did you get your baby reading?

They didn't say & were actually rude lol. So I am waiting until my refund gets in & ordering somewhere else.

I googled Jenny Renny and paid her through paypal & got the reading the net morning. This is actually my 2nd reading haha, my 1st was from Ruby .

I started my maca one week ago today, and after looking online, DH and I are both taking 4 525mg tablets a day. We both noticed that we have more energy, it's easier to wake up in the morning, and increased sex drive. I had stronger o's too,. So I think I may just keep taking it if we can't get pregnant. I found maca that has a higher dose per pill that I'm gonna order...it has 5200mg per pill!! I may never get out of bed

Well, the way I see it, the only s/e from too much maca is insomnia, right? So, if it boosts sex drive and you're both awake....
