I just wanted to see if anyone was doing days 3 - 7 with clomid and what kind of side effects they are having if any... I started on day 3( Saturday) and Im currently on day 5 (Monday) My dr wanted me to take it i the evening so I take it before I bed.. I didnt realize hot flashes were a side effect with this I tought it was just me Anyways other then that I have a slight headache shortly after and some mild cramps nothing like I thought.. I also have felt exhausted the past couple days.... I have my next sono and bloodwork next Monday and then depending on those results I will be doing an Ovidrel injection that night and then a day later going in for my first IUI.. Jsut wanted to see if anyone out there might have anything close that we could swap back and forth..

Sounds like we are on similar schedules! I am on day 6 (clomid 3-7). Tomorrow is my last day!! I don't know about hot flashes... but I have had more cramps then I was expecting (just had lap for endo). Me and DH are at each others throats today... but I think that is a combo of my being on clomid and us having ALOT of stressful things going on right now.

I also have my ultrasound on Monday and hopefully trigger Monday and IUI Tuesday! This is my first official MA cycle!

OH I have been tired too! Not sure if its from my weird work schedule this week though...

I took my first Clomid cycle this month on days 5-9. It made me extremely irritable and sad/moody. I'm glad it's over with and I hope it works.

We are pretty close also! I just took my last dose of Clomid tonight! So glad it's over!!!! Though it was not at all as bad as I feared. I was also way tired the first 2 days. A few mild hot flashes that came and went pretty quickly, morning headaches that were easily cured with Advil or caffeine, and some irritability for sure, but I deliberately tried to keep my sense of humor about it and direct my frustration at inanimate objects. Oh yeah, and some mild ovarian cramps... here's hoping those don't get way worse as I get closer to O!! Good luck, and hope Clomid isn't too much of a !!

Well Im glad to see I have some in common with you gals.... Today will be my day 7 and my last dose of Clomid tonight. My symptoms have gotton alittle better Im still tired most of the day and I dont know If I have just gotton used to the cramps or concentrating on other things they dont seem as bad today as well... I just had an IUI after my 3rd round of Clomid. The side effects you described are all pretty common: headache, hot flashes, night sweats, moodiness, etc. I think they have gotten worse with each cycle (not to scare you or anything!). Then your Ovidrel injection will bring on a whole new set of side effects!! Of course every woman is different, but after my Ovidrel injection, I feel bloated, tired, and I have NO appetite for a few days.

I didnt even think about side effects with the injection!!! This week has thrown me all off! Oh my! Well Good luck to you Melissa, and I wish you a speedy 2 week wait!
