Hey Im Mary. Im 25 and DH 36. Weve been together 7yrs but ttc #1 3yrs. I started my clomid the 22nd of this month. Well i thought i had endo. or scaring that was keeping me from getting pregnant but i had a laparoscopy march12th and the doctor said i was fine. No scaring and no endo. Which was good but also got me thinking if im fine why i havnt gotten pregnant. Well my DH had a S.A. and it was the low side of normal. The doctor said not to worry about that. I dont ovulate all the time. I have 34 day cycles and the doctor said the further out your cycles are the more likely i wont ovulate. So he put me on clomid. Im nervous about it. Im excited but nervous b/c....i hear of good stories where ladies get pregnant within in 2-3 cycles but my best friend has been on clomid going on her 5th cycle. Im just praying mine doesnt take as long. But im keeping faith and hoping. It sounds like we started clomid around the same time. Hope your turns out too!!!!

I'm new to the website too but I have already done 5 rounds of clomid. One thing I wish I knew before starting clomid is you can have a lot of pregnancy like symptoms after ovulation on clomid. I had bloating, nausea etc. When I asked about it I was told that lots of women get that so don't be surprised if it happens.
I wish you lots of luck! I know many women who have had success on clomid.

I'm starting my first round of follistim for IUI on Monday and am pretty nervous. Anyone have any comments about it? Side effects? Things to prepare for?

Hey, sorry I am just seeing this. Welcome to the board Mary!

You have definitely come to the right board for support, the ladies here are amazing and you'll always have someone that has BTDT to ask questions to.

If you have more questions about clomid or just need some place to vent, please feel free to post on the main board. You're more likely to get a bigger response if you post there.

Again, welcome and I hope your stay here is short and you get that BFP very soon!

Hello all!

I'm new here too. I'll be starting cycle #1 of Clomid on April 27th. Trying to be hopeful...but to not get my hopes up too high! Been ttc since October 2008 and only diagnosed with PCOS this month...

Good luck to everyone!
