Hi me and the hubbys are ttc we have an almost 4 year old (took 4 years of baby dancing to get him)and i was on the depo shot after having him and didnt have a period til last year which they come on different days of the months, heavy or light, and also doesnt come every month. So I talked to my doctors pa about ttc and not having a regular period had one in january not one in february and one on march 1st that lasted 4 days. So she gave me Provera and told me to take it on the 1st day of April wether or not my period comes and take all ten pills (10mg for 10 days) and to take a pregnancy test before I take the Provera the next month.

I have been researching the provera and have seen mixed comments about it helping you ovulate or not / get pregnant or not. So I figured i would see what you gals thought.

Any help would be great.

the provera is used to force your period to start does not have much to do with ovulating, for making sure you ovulate I would ask about clomid or femara.
