Just out of curiosity, does your husband get to come in during the retrievel (maybe to hold your hand?)

Yes, my husband has been with me for all my retrievals and transfers. Not only was he there for support and hand holding, but during the retrievals when I was really doped up, he kept tabs on what was going on and filled me after the fact. Funny how many things I didn't remember at all that he could fill me in on.
