At work, we have the Medela Classic, hospital grade breast pump at work, but I can't seem to find a pump for home. Nothing seems to work as well, and I can't seem to get let-down. I've tried a Medela Lactina pump manually, I've tried the Pump In Style & I've tried something manual by Aveda, I don't know what. The manual Lactina seems to work the best, but it takes a LOT of work to only get let-down after more than 5 minutes. The Pump-In-Style didn't do ANYTHING. I couldn't turn up the suction high enough. & then Aveda Manual was Awful. If I didn't pay careful attention to every stroke, I'd pull the handle out and have to reset the whole thing.
Any suggestions? I hate to rent a hospital grade when I only really need it for time off and weekends.
