I'm trying to decide which one to get- anyone have experience with the freestyle?

I got the Pump in Style and kind of laughed at the idea of the freestyle (who would want to pump and type?). Now though, since I pump twice a day at work (I'm a teacher) I wish I would have got the free style so I could grade papers while pumping. I feel like I could be doing something else besides holding on to my breastshields.

I just got a Freestyle and am so glad I got it. I can pump in my car now! I can pump handsfree and be doing things at the same time. At work if you were pinched for time you could pump and still get work done. (If you have an office type job anyway.) I really like it. I've used a Pump N Style in the past too so I can compare the two of them.

I have the Pump In Style. I can't work while I'm pumping at work since I have a cubicle and have to use an empty office to pump, but I did buy a hands free pumping bra that I put on while I pump. It holds the pump on me so that I can read a book or play on my ipod while I'm pumping. In my opinion the $20 I spent on the pumping bra is better than the extra $100 for the freestyle. I'm not sure if it has any other options over the PIS other than the hands-free. You can also do this to pump hands free, but I never got it to work well enough - kellymom.com :: Hands-free pumping

A couple more features and I don't remember having this on the PIS, but maybe they are there now. It has a built in timer and a memory feature. You can save what levels and settings and such you use for pumping. It also has a timer to track pumping time. For me though the biggest reason I like it is the battery aspect. If you don't need all that you might be just fine with the PIS. When I added how much it was going to cost me to buy a battery pack for it and a hands free kit it wasn't as substantial a difference. Also I can put it on my belt and walk around the house and pump and get things done too. I can't do that with the PIS.

PIS is a good pump though so if you don't need the hands free aspect, not sure that it's worth it.
