I have been sending only fresh milk every day for my daughter, but I
need to start rotating through my frozen stash a little quicker. So
I'm planning on sending one bottle of frozen milk and two bottles of
fresh every day.

I want to send a 6 oz bottle for her first bottle (she drinks more in
the morning) and then two 5 oz bottles for her last two. I want them
to use the frozen milk first, but most of those are in 5 oz bags. Can
I add an oz of my fresh milk to make a 6 oz bottle? My friend said
that I shouldn't add fresh milk to frozen (but she is a little nutty, so who knows), but I'm hoping it wouldn't be
a big deal if I'm only adding one oz.

Does that make any sense?

as far as I know, it is okay. I've done it and Jonah is still alive. I think that when you mix it, though, both have to be the same temp. So chill the fresh milk, and thaw the frozen, then add them together chilled. Maybe I am nutty too! But that is what I was told when I started.

that is correct, make sure both sets of milk is the same temp, also make sure you don't add more fresh than what there was frozen... so adding 1oz of fresh to 5oz of frozen is fine, but I read not to do it the other way around.
