is going away, I'm sure of it.

Laura ate a lot before going to bed, about 5oz and then slept for about 5 hours or so. I was so beat I enjoyed the sleep but when she woke up I noticed my boobs weren't really sore at all. This is unusual, isn't it?

By the time I fed her and pumped I only got about 2oz. No more than if I pumped in 3 hours.

I am so close to giving up, please help me.

If your daughter is only 1 week old and you got 2oz out after feeding her I would say you are doing well! Your supply has not come in yet and also, my LC told me that you have a spike in your supply at around the 2-3 week mark and then it goes down again. Try not to give up yet. If you pump pump pump you will eventually see an increase! and it is OK to give your baby formula if needed as well to get you through the hard times

I agree that your supply sounds good if you're getting 2ozs AFTER a feeding! Sometimes I only pump 2ozs and that's BEFORE a feeding! And I've been doing this for 6 weeks now..

The feeding she had before was not from breastfeeding it was from milk I had pumped previous to this. I don't breastfeed at all, I'm exclusively pumping.

The doctor prescribed something for me today to help with supply but a lady in my DDC said it had the reverse affect on her last time she used it and it dried her up completely so now I'm scared to try it.

She is still so young...keep pumping for just another couple of weeks. You are bound to see a difference in your supply!

Keep up with the pumping, you can do this

Going 3 hours between pumps is not a good idea, try pumping every 2hrs - 2.5hrs instead.

I don't know if I posted this link already but you should check this out
