Can someone pls explain me how to do it correctly and how often.
I'm having these weird periods when my milk supply decreases but they never last longer than 1 day. However, since yesterday i barely pump 4 onze in 20 minutes. It took me 3 hours ,with stops of course,to pump enough for Kalina's feeding.

I stopped the fenugreek coz it made me smell bad lol plus it gave me cramps and i *think* that Kalina was having some issues with it as well.
Is there any other pill i can take to help me with my milk supply?
I'm seeing my obgyn tomorrow but i'm not sure if he can answer my questions and prescribe something like reglan for instance, for whihc i've heard it's used for increasing the m.supply.

Have u menaged to increase and keep ur supply without taking any pills/supplements?
Thanks for reading :]

I'm lucky that I haven't had to take anything. A lot of the ladies here will swear by the mothers milk tea ... you'll want to check if it still has fenugreek in it though.

Power pumping has worked for a lot of the ladies .... it stimulates your breasts to make more milk just as your baby would if she were having a growth spurt. Also, I can't recommend enough to make sure you drink enough water and eat well. Making milk is harder work than most people realise!

Kalina is beautiful! I found power pumping to be helpful when I do it. I have a hard time with pumping and doing everything else.

I ususally do 20mins pump, 10mins break, 10mins pump and thats it.

I power pump 1 time a day. I usually do it in the evening before bed. I will pump for 20 minutes, then stop and rest for 10 minutes, then pump for 10 minutes, rest for 10, and pump for 10 more minutes. This lasts about an hour or so and I was able to increase my supply significantly by power pumping every night.

I went from getting 5oz before bed to getting close to 12oz on some of my best nights.

I tried Fenugreek and the mothers tea but they didn't really work that well for me. I just found that pumping more often, adding the power pumping, oatmeal cookies, and plenty of water were the things to keep my supply up.

Good luck if you try power pumping and let us know your results. I saw a big increase after about 2 weeks.

I might try power pumping in the evenings. I have a hard time finding an hour to devote to it, though.
