Nope, I got my Medela Pump in Style before Juliet was born. I did a ton of research but was having a hard time deciding between it and the Ameda Purely Yours. I went with the Medela because the spare parts are so easy to find. I knew I'd be pumping at work so I wanted something that had good reviews and would hold up for 3+ pumping sessions/day for 9 months.
I'm a SAHM so I just the Evenflo SimplyGo for $40, I had planned on EBF ad only using the pump when I needed to leave him with dad or another family member. He had other plans so I bought a Playtex Deluxe Double Pump. It got really good reviews and I love that since I use the drop in's I can pump directly into the bottle then feed it to him!
I got my PISA from a lady at work when I was about 6 months pregnant. I knew they had a good reputation, I trusted her, and knew it was only lightly used and it was a steal (half price) so seemed too good to be true. I used it for both my boys in the end and was absolutely thrilled with its performance.
It seems like everyone around me uses the Medela PISA, and a friend of mine gave me hers which she had barely used. Hard to argue with getting a good quality pump for free, I just needed to buy replacement parts and I was good to go.
