Have you changed your diet in order to feed your LO? Was it because you "had" to .... because they were intolerant of something or just because you thought it would be better for them.

I reduced my coffee intake (couldn't give up completely) while pregnant and breastfeeding but didn't have to change my diet at all.

I haven't changed my diet except that I don't drink caffine pop, and try to keep my sugar in take low b/c she gets too fussy during the night I've noticed if I eat too much sugar. Besides that I eat everything else I did before hand.

nope, I didnt change anything. I've never been a coffee drinker, so I haven't worried about that. In the beginning DH tried to see if her fussiness could be related to something I was eating, but I think it was just normal newborn behavior (for her).

I gave up dairy when he was a newborn because he had a sensitivity to it, I added a small amount back and so far it doesn't seem to bother him. I stopped drinking coffee in the afternoon since it keeps him from sleeping soundly at night, if I had a sleepless night and I need an afternoon cup then I just give him a frozen one before bed..

I've tried to keep caffiene to 2 cand of Diet Coke or less per day. As far as eating, no, but I totally should try to eat healthier. It's just so hard when I'm STARVING all the time.

yes, I had to. Long story. But the rewards were tremendous for Kaiden, and I like the new diet so much I intend to stick with it for life!

Well, I've eaten more oatmeal, and cut out some of the spicey foods - but that's really it. I think twice before having another can of soda too - just because I know caffeine may affect my supply.
