Today was my third day of pumping at work and it is going well. I am making a good amount, just not quite as much as they are eating (They are nicknamed my hungry, hungry hippos for a reason). Today I pumped 18 oz (7 oz at 9 AM, 6 oz at 12 PM, and 5 oz at 3 PM). The kiddies ate a total of 23 oz while I was gone (I leave at 6:45 and get home at 5, so that is about average I think) ... SO ... I am 5 oz off, but that is still close. I am going to work at it and see if I can up my production some. They also get what I pump after I feed them at night and in the morning. That should make up the difference (usually another 2-3 oz in the evening, and 5 oz in the middle of the night/ early morning), but Abigail is a very fussy eater and often takes a 3 oz bottle even after I feed her, so that tends to eat up what I pump in the after feeding sessions. She has been doing that for a while though, which is why I pump even at home.

Anyway, just thought I would post an update. If anyone has any great suggestions, I would love to hear them. I have done so much reading on this, but sometimes it is hard to make it practically work. At least I am close though, and if they have a little formula now and then, it will not hurt them

You are doing GREAT!! It's much harder pumping for 2 so don't get to down, a little formula is fine because any milk you give them will help so much!! **hugs**

that's great. I don't know what's practical for you (ie how much time you have at work) but can you try to pump for longer or more frequently? You need to tell your body into making more milk. DOn't forget to keep eating and drinking a ton of water. You'll know you're drinking enough when you have to pee every half hour
