I am pumping all my breastmilk for my one week old because she was a 35 weeker and cannot latch on yet. The hospital gave me a really nice, hospital grade electric double pump that I can keep until her due date, which is 12/4. Well, I am goingt o be pumping way past that so i am looking for a good one to buy. Can anyone suggest a good one? I would like to still have an electric double pump...it is so nice and easy, but there are soooo many and I don't know which one to get. Help!

I have the medela pump in style advanced and I love it!!! It's a little pricey but sooooooo worth it! It has 2 settings- one is a quick speed that helps with the let down (like how a baby sucks fast at first) and then it slows down to a regular speed.

Medela Pump in style all the way!

I got mine from my SIL, she also got hers from WIC for free. So if you qualify or even THINK you might qualify, check into them!

Our WIC doesnt give pumps away and only has 2 for moms with preemies....I had to use a pedal pump from them which was fine but tireing!

I also say go with a Medela pump in style ADVANCED I got mine for just $220 online new and that is nothing compared to $25 cans of formula for a week or more.....not to mention the benefiets.

I used Medela PIS as well. I also recommend Ameda Purely Yours. I know a lot of friends that worked full time with it. It is also a good pump and not quite as pricey as Medela.
