OK... so Maddie had her first and second round of shots. It was after the second round that she acted so strange and I started doing research.
I decided there was no way I was getting any more shots. Of course, the doctor tried to talk me out of my decision, but I explained to her that every ounce of my mommy intuition was saying don't do it!
Fast forward several months...
we found out our baby has a congenital heart defect. Her body was compensating nicely by making extra red blood cells to carry the oxygen (she had no pulmonary artery!) to the lungs...
we found out that had we gone ahead and done the shots, her body would surely have slacked off on her red blood production to make white blood cells and antibodies to make the vaccines "work!"
She would have died...that extra red blood was keeping her alive--but with oxygen saturations of dangerously low middle 60's... any lower, and her organs and brain would have begun to just shut down...
As a result of the research I did when she was tiny, I have decided that the new baby (due in Dec) will also be a no vax baby.
That is terrifying! I am really glad that you followed your gut. A lot of mommy's don't. They just go with the flow and believe that they must be doing the right thing or vaccines wouldn't be so popular...
