So FINALLY she is here! I can't believe how tiny she is and now I'm thankful she didn't come any sooner than she did! She's lost down to 5.12 but they said it was normal to lose a little bit of weight and as long as she's eating and going through diapers we're good. AND she latched on like a PRO! I was so relieved but they let me try about an hour after my surgery and immediately she went for it. They are giving her small amounts of formula through a syringe to help her maintain her weight but she's still happy with breast feeding.. I hope it keeps going good once we get home! She did give us a little bit of a scare today when they were listening to her heart though .. The doctor said she heard a loud echo so they ordered a complete ultrasound of her heart and thankfully it ended up being just a tiny heart murmur that she will eventually outgrow. ( That, however, was the longest wait of my entire life. ) She is just so tiny and perfect though and Noah is in love! He keeps saying "Me sister .. me kiss!"
I'm doing good. Sore but feeling better than I did at this point with Noah. I'm off all IV meds and have been since last night and they said I should be home by tomorrow afternoon! ( Thank goodness! )
