8 Lbs 1 Oz
39 weeks and 2 days gestation
At 8:00 am we show up at the hospital a hour late! Slow start but we were ok! They show us to our room which was the smallest room they had! Jonathan was flipping out on the nurses wanting us moved to a bigger room! Like it's a friggin' hotel or something! HA! Men! Anyways, they have me put on a gown and give me my icky anti-acid stuff! I didn't throw up this time! YAY! I think it was because I had nothing to throw up since they wouldn't let me eat since midnight!
8:40 am and one of the nurses come in puts in my catheter and walks me to the O.R.!!! This is were I am getting really nervous! We get to the O.R. and they have me sit on this table bed thing in the middle of this big room with monitors. I feel like an abductee about to be tested on by aliens! They have me lean over for my epi. Once the epi is in they lay me down and start prepping me for my C/S ie. shaving me down and painting my belly orange. By the time they get to this I don't think I have legs anymore. Well, my epi worked this time! YAY!
The C/S went well, they were crushing my ribs trying to get Tasiya out, and it was the most funny feeling when they finally pulled her out! (9:24 am) I felt empty almost...Then they said her weight! 8 lbs 1 oz!!!! OMG! No wonder I felt empty when they pulled her out! With a baby that size, she must have been filling up any space I had in there. Thank god I didn't go past my due date!
While they stappled me up and everything Jonathan came over with Tasiya. I cried she was so perfect and beautiful! I still do sometimes when I look at her and my other two babies.
