I had to be at the hospital at 7:30 to do the paper work and other pre op stuff. Once we filled out the paper work I got into the room and I got dressed in that beautiful gown and they started the IV. At the same time they started monitoring the baby. Then at 9:15 I walked to the OR while hubby waited in the room until after I got my spinal. Once in the OR I got the spinal which didnt hurt at all. Just a little sting from the local. Then I laid down and they put the drap up and then hubby got to join me. It seemed like only seconds and I heard my little girl cry. My husband went over and watched her get cleaned up as I got sewed up. Once she was clean he got to bring her over to me so I could see her. They rest of the time in the OR flew by. Then I went to recovery for about an hour where she remained in my arms the whole time. After the recovery room they wheeled me and my little girl up to the post partum room. I got the catherter out at 9 that night and was able to walk to the bathroom and the IV was out the next morning. I had a wonderful experance and wouldnt trade it for anything in the world. I am healing nicely and I have never felt pain the whole time. I made sure I took my pain meds every 4 hours and walked as much as possible.
