appt with our first venue next week!!

Chris and I made an appointment this morning to check out our first venue! We are going on Tuesday morning at 10am! I'm so excited! This place is our number one choice on paper so hopefully it lives up to our expectations IRL! Since this is our first place, we obviously aren't going to put down a deposit yet (we will prob do that in Jan or Feb) but do any of you ladies have any tips/tricks for us? I have a (very long) list of questions to ask (mostly found from googling) but what are some that MUST be asked that I may have forgotten about? Should I bring my camera??

I have no idea what to ask, lol, we're getting married in Jamaica so I don't have to look into this kind of thing but that is very exciting you get to go see your number one choice! I hope it's everything you want.

That will be so much fun! I don't have any advice on searching for venues because I'm getting married on my parents property, but I hope that it is everything that you imagined and that it works out perfect for you!

We loved it!!! It is perfect! Even better in person than we thought! We are going to look at a few more places in the next couple of weeks and then if this is still the one we are putting down a deposit! We both looked at each other on our way back to our car and said "this is the one" the price cant be beat, and I just found out that someone I went to school with had their reception there 3 years ago and loved it! I took pics of the indoor gazebo, but I think we decided to have ours in the ballroom, which I didnt get pics of! She gave us a few dates where it is going to actually be set up for a wedding so we can go back and take pics then. Our moms will be coming with us at that time also! I'm so excited!!
