I've posted here a couple of times, but totally forgot to introduce myself, I think. My name is Stephanie (28) and my DF is Matt (24). We have been together since 07/17/09 and we got engaged on New Years day (well, a few minutes after midnight). I do not have any children; he has a 3 yr old son from a previous relationship. We are NTNP our 1st together.
We do not have a date set for our wedding. Our budget will be pretty small. This will be my 2nd marriage (was married way back when I was 19) and his first. Right now, we are leaning towards an in-suite wedding in Las Vegas. I like the idea of an in-suite wedding b/c we will be able to pay more for a nice room. I am, however, concerned about photography. Originally I figured we'd either get married in AZ (where my family is) or WI (his family), but I figure this way... everyone who wants to attend will have to travel. And heck, some family members may be more inclined to come b/c Las Vegas is fun!
My first wedding was nice. It was a typical church wedding. We did it on the cheap and didn't spend a dime on photography, which I regret! Also I hated my hairstyle and ended up being embarassed of every single photo that was taken of me! I definitely don't want to repeat those mistakes.
Anyway, sorry this got so long. Just wanted to say hello, really!
My wedding is a really small budget too - everything is about $2,000 - but it's also really small (10 guests).
