How involved is your DF? Mine has so many opinions I don't know what to do. I am glad that he is interested but its also a little frustrating as he wants to keep options limited and eachtime I want to research more he wants to narrow the list and not do so much research.

So just wondering how involved in all the planning your DF is?

Mine isn't that involved, he will be helping chose the venue and food but anything dealing with colors, decorating, florals that is all me

Just browsing around(for wedding info really) and wanted to comment. My DF is very involved. I'd say we're going in 50/50 with each other on involvement. This will be a second marriage but a FIRST on having an actual wedding for both of us, so we want each of us to be happy with all the arrangements. I don't know what I'd do without him, probably lose my mind lol!

Pretty involved. I'm doing a lot of the initial research and sending out the emails (occasionally making the phone calls but I hate making phone calls so I'll email if I can) but we talk about everything we'd like and we go over the venues/services I find together. Neither of us is great at details, but personality wise it is slightly easier for me to temporarily immerse myself in them than it is for him.

I do most of the planning and when I find something I like I talk to him about it and see if he agrees (he always agrees! lol)

They get opinions and get to be involved? Sheesh don't tell mine that!!

LOL just kidding. I have free reign, but I do run a lot past him because I want him to feel involved. The only part I wish he'd butt out of is our first dance song. It's the one aspect we cannot agree on, but we can choose it two days before, it's not like it's a super important detail.
