I am not a normal poster on this section but I figured since I have a question about bridal shower gifts I could ask other women who are getting married.

I am attending a bridal shower this weekend. The bride is a casual friend and more friends with my bf (her fiancee is a really good friend/coworker of my bf). Its being held at the officers club on base near my house.

What do I get her as a gift? My sister said bridal showers are supposed to be about the bride. I was thinking (in keeping with that idea) of getting her a nice home spa kit from bath and body works.

Or am I supposed to get her things off her registry? Its mostly all stuff for cooking/their home and not really anything more geared towards her.

Since its being held at a nice location and her mom is one of the hosts I was going to stay away from rique items (I dont want to make anyone uncomfortable).

When you are having a ladies lunch bridal shower, what kind of gifts do you expect? Any help is much appreciated.

I got a lot of stuff from my registry.... but it was always cool when someone did something a little unique.... for example, we're going to Florida for our honeymoon so one of my DF's aunts got us tickets to an event we wanted to see while there.

If you don't know her that well,I would err on the side of caution and get her something from the regestry or maybe get her the spa set and something small from the regesry.
