I want to see them!!!

What did you get for engagement?
What does your wedding band look like? His?

Were you 100% happy with your choices?

I did not/have not yet gotten an engagement ring. My wedding ring is a cheap sterling band we grabbed from the mall so we'd have something to exchange. LOL.

But we're ordering this set for our big wedding. I wanted something he would like, and would wear without complaint, and he loved these ones.

Ooh I like those!!

My e-ring is a Ruby just because I am not super traditional and wanted something a little more unique. Ruby is my birth stone. For my wedding band, I just got a plain, simple white gold band. I didn't want something that would contrast with my e-ring.

DH's is a tungsten ring. He loves it! This is his:

This is my engagement ring! We haven't picked out wedding bans yet but Zach will getting a tungsten band and I'm hoping to get 2 diamond bands if the budget allows, 1 on each side of my engagement ring!

Very nice ladies!

i swear, if he doesn't buy me a rock soon I'm going to take his money and do it my freaking self! I don't want a big ring! I'd be happy with a $100 walmart one!

I actually paid for half my ring myself. LOL. I don't normally tell people that because I get a weird reaction, but we were also buying a house at the exact same time and new more of our money needed to be directed there, so I figured WTH! This is the ring I want, and I am willing to put forth some money to get it. It wasn't very much either because it is a lab-created ruby. I figure later on when we have more money, we might decide to upgrade later, but for now it is exactly what I wanted, and I don't have to stress that it cost more than the down payment on our house. hahahaha.

I also picked it out and ordered it myself. For some that might take the romance out of it, but the proposal was still a surprise. I just knew what ring I was going to get

LOL! That's cute Sammy!

I'd happily buy it myself, but I don't work so everything I spend is his as it is. And honestly? I'd be upset and wouldn't accept a ring he spent a small fortune on because it's not my style. There have been a few made stones on Overstock.com that I love that he knows are there, but the boy is stubborn (and right now working too much).

Don't really have good pics but my engagement ring is a ruby with diamonds on each side. The only thing I'd change is I want my original ring back. The ruby was so much more vibrant.

Our wedding bands were custom designed.

Here's my engagement ring and wedding band. I took this pic for my photography class, in case you are wondering why it looks like it belongs in an advertisement

Wedding Rings by L. Trozzo, on Flickr

I went and took a pic of them on so you can see them together

We both have a set of "everyday" rings and our "good" rings. Those are my good rings in the pics above, and i have just a plain band i wear all the time when i'm not wearing those. DH's "good' ring is at my mother's house in the safe right now because i have no where safe for it while we're in the hotel. But here is a pic of both of our everyday rings that the photographer took.

we have a plain set too, but I plan on putting them in our wedding album when we get our new set.

I really like yours. I want an engagement ring like that, but for me would have to be smaller. But that's the setting style I want!
