I'm gonna be planning a vow renewal for July 2013 on our 11 year anniversary and have no idea what protocol is for a vow renewal. We had some... issues... forcing us to have a smaller wedding than intended and we want to have the big party & awesome pictures we missed out on when we got married.
Has anyone planned a vow renewal and have any suggestions?

I'm sorry I don't have any tips for you I'm planning everything for the first time so have never been through a renewal or ever even been to a vow renewal! I think that's Awesome that you are going to get your big ceremony, party, and all the fancy details! Every woman deserves it!

I have the location sorta booked (didn't put any money down so if someone else wants it before I have the $, they'll get it). This is the location that got me dreaming about a renewal to begin with! I am super thrilled to get it. The cool thing is they have a caterer & florists & everything that they work with already so I don't have to go all over town for them. One stop shopping! LOL
