It's sounds so crazy and lame but it totally fit in with "us"... He was too scared to talk to me at work so he got my number from one of his friends and started texting me, and our relationship took off from there. So when he proposed, we were at the beach with the kids, I was laying on the blanket watching everyone play and got a message "I know this probably isn't the right time, or way to ask but I can't wait any longer, Will you marry me" It was so sweet, and for the first time in my life I was completely surprised <3
