Last night, DF and I got to talking about wedding bands, specifically his, and he admitted that he really hates metal rings. Truth be told, I do too, but my Dad's ring is gold and I was planning on just wearing that. DF made a joke about wood rings, so I googled it and they are out there! And they're gorgeous and not nearly as expensive as gold or whatever else rings. I'm still looking at them, but I'm interested to see if anyone else has them? I want to know if they really are durable, what wood would be best, etc. Thanks!

Its a great idea as long as choose the right type of wood and plan on not carrying while washing hands, as wood tends to expand while wet.
