I'm doing the panicking "omg there is so much to learn, do, buy before the baby gets here!" when I know I have enough time.
Anyway, I know of an APish Pedi around my area that I want to take Kailey and the new baby too. Thing is, I'm not sure how to go about doing this. HB MW's have all the proper documentation for the new baby, BUT, do I need to get info from my state since I'm having a homebirth? I fear I've researched homebirth and it's safety, but I have not researched how to "register" a child when doing a homebirth! LOL!
I believe my midwife fills out all the proper papers, gives them to us and we take them down to our local court house (i think, im having a terrible time remembering at the moment) and give them what they need and register the birth.
my midwife gave me the same form i got for my hospital-born girls, i filled it out, and she will file everything for me.
all i have to do as far as the doctor goes is call and let them know he was born so they can make me an appointment...and really i only have to do that if i want an appointment sooner- i technically already have one for him in three weeks.
My midwife always has everything. I fill them out, we both sign as needed, she mails them off.
ESTHER GRACE WAS BORN ON MARCH 23RD, 2009: 4:15 PM, 9 POUNDS, 20.5 INCHES. ANOTHER WONDERFUL HOME WATER BIRTH!!!
The world today is upside down because there is so very little love in the home, and in family life. We have no time for each other. Everybody is in such a terrible rush, and so anxious…and in the home begins the disruption of the peace of the world. -Mother Teresa~
