Thanks Destiney

Everything seems to be fine. The blood is more then likely being caused from my cervix changing. My midwife is hoping this kid holds out till 37 weeks and so am I.

It's weird going from wondering if Gage was ever going to come out to wanting Dane to stay in just a week and a half longer!

Glad you don't mind that I updated ya! I was just coming over here to check on ya. I didn't notice a post from you on the other board. I'll be praying for a week and a half. I am glad the bleeding has stopped. Mine has too. I thought I was losing my lug, but obviously not. Your current mantra of ""stay put" is way different from mine. I've been saying, "get out" all day. Glad you're better. I hope you can have the hbac you want.

The bleeding hasn't stopped unfortunately but I'm going by what they say, it's of my cervix changing. Fingers crossed.

See at first I thought I was, but there was no mucous following it, so I'm still confused.

You can say come out! You've hit the 37 week mark

Oh crap. I thought the bleeding stopped. They are positive it isn't a problem with the placenta right? Are you having contractions?

They checked my placenta during the ultrasound and said everything checked out fine. I've been having contractions, they were pretty close together the other day but that was false.

As much as I don't want him to come early, I want to know everything is ok so I'm hoping he comes soon.

Well I'll continue to pray for 37 weeks. I am so glad it is not your placenta. I'm excited for you that the midwife will be ready and willing for a homebirth. It is just so exciting to finally be at that point, isn't it? Our local newspaper called me (okay, so I used to work there and they are my friends) and they want to do a story on my homebirth. Not as much advocating homebirth as natural childbirth. They want to come take pics. I declined the pics and said I would be more than willing to donate some if they decide to do the story. I love the guy who wants to do the story, but I don't really want him there for the birth. He and his wife are going to having their first in June. As far as contractions go, mine only seem to come at night when I try to sleep. They are generally after sex and strong enough to wake me, but not consistent enough to insinuate labor is close. I am sooo ready. My body is in pain and I just want someone else to hold the baby for an hour while I sleep. Is that selfish?
