I havent posted in here in a very long time as we are still not pregnant, but i have some questions. I have recently had an HSG diagnosing submucosal uterine fibroids (the only ones that respond to removal in surgery, upping your odds by about 50% thank god). I have at least one over 7mm if not larger.
I know the deeper and the bigger they are, the deeper they dig into the uterine wall to remove the fibroid. This thins the uterus and can put you at possible risk for rupture during birth
I have been an enormous homebirth advocate, planning my own for more than 2 years. I know its typical to recommend c-section after this procedure but I"m also not one to take everything a doctor says 100% as is.
Anyone struggled with this and still proceded with homebirth? Would most of you even recommend hospital?

Lauren there is a girl in the July DDC who had this procedure done (only person I "know")---she is opting for scheduled c/s. I'm not sure what the rates of U.R. are or anything but I truly hope that you can get your HB someday
