I haven't really gotten any negative comments, but nothing overwhelmingly positive either...
the other day I talked to someone through email (haven't met her, just talked to her about a project she's doing) and she was excited. lol Our local AP parenting group has lots of homebirthers so they've been really supportive and encouraging.

I've only told my sister and a close friend who is due the same time as me. My sister was extremely worried I wasn't thinking things through, but I think she will eventually support it, though it will take a lot of convincing. My friend is all for it since she is planning a home-birth herself!
It was actually my family practice doctor! He told me that it was my best option since he didn't feel that I'd be given a good chance to have a VBAC since ds1 was a 26 week preemie (born naturally) and ds2 was a c-section. He told me that my midwife was more than welcome to call him and confer with him and that if we needed him he might just come to the house.
