Has anyone continued to exercise or start working out while pregnant?

I did when I was pregnant with Cadie and will next time too. I feel strongly that staying fit and active is pretty important if your goal is a NCB. I know a lot of people poo-poo that idea, but I think it's a mistake to expect your body to be able to work that hard for who knows how long without any "training".

I'm continuing to do what I normally would. I was putting straw bales up this weekend in the barn and I rode one of my horses for a hour today bareback. My mw said that it was fine to do so as long as I wasn't experiencing any complications.

I walk around my neighborhood or on my treadmill during winter.

I was an avid runner pre-pregnancy and continued to run until about 14 weeks (the jarring made my back hurt and my balance was off). Now I speed walk 2-3 miles a few times per week. It's worked well, although I rarely even work up a sweat.

I was still doing 6-9 miles a day on the elliptical until about 6 weeks... Since then I've only tried working out once, but as my morning sickness has kicked in I've just been to weak to do it. I'm really hoping my energy picks back up within the next couple of weeks so I can get back into the swing of things

I got a new elliptical the day I found I was expecting, lol. But I still plan to work out on it moderately throughout the pregnancy, since a strong body will probably tolerate labor better than a weak one. Oh- and it's good for the legs. But I'm definitely not going to do any strenuous exercising.

I've been trying. I go to Curves regularly, but lately I've felt so ill and tired. I'm sure that once the morning sickness passes, I'll be back to my routine. I still take my dog on two fast-paced walks a day (20 minutes each) so it's not like I'm not getting any exercise. It's just hard to keep going around on the machines when I feel like I'm going to throw up on each one!

I've also been feeling so ill and tired to keep up with going to the gym.... but I'd really like to.
