What is your plan on what you'll wear during labor? Or for our BTDT mamas, did you make plans to wear something specific during labor? Did you end up laboring naked instead?

Plan is to wear whatever I feel comfortable in at the time.

I was naked haha. I wanted nothing to do with clothes, they were too constricting to me. I wore towels draping when i'd walk around though.

I wore a Binsi birth skirt a lot of the time and a very soft sleep nursing bra. Once I got in the tub though I lost the skirt.

Wear whatever is comfortable. It all eventually comes off anyway. :-)

I'll probably wear a long dress nightie, I wore it for my first birth and it was nice. I'll be hopefully having a waterbirth, so at that point I'll either be nakkie or only have a bra on.

When my midwives got to my house I had on a loose cotton sun dress from old navy that I wore all summer because it was so comfy. They had me get in the shower to do nipple pulls and I came out in a towel and at some point that came off and I was just naked I guess. It's weird...I kind of wasn't aware I was naked..LOL, but there is no way I could have tolerated any type of clothing.

Not sure. I actually wouldn't mind a hosptial type gown. They are usually big and easy to get around in. But, if I go in the shower or tub, it would come off. Maybe a nightgown? Maybe just a bra? I don't know. I hate bras. Maybe naked

I hate being naked in front of people, so I wore a tank top with a built in bra and the little skirt that goes with my bathing suit.

Yeah, it was OK. It is really the simplest design ever. I was really glad I got in cheap on Ebay because I could have made it for like $5 in about 2 hours.

So I will plan to wear it for the next birth too, but I am REALLY glad I did not pay retail. It was very convenient, comfortable and easy to pull on for my transfer to the hospital, sad as that is to think about.
