Would you or wouldn't you? DH brought this up the other day... found a site I can do it on that's private and free... just curious to see your thoughts

Hmmmm thats a good question. Would you mind sharing the website?? I like the idea of it being private, but I"d really want to make sure, ya know?

its freedocast.com

on private setting your "channel" does not show in search or lists. You have to give out the specific web address plus you assign a password to access it.

Personally, I wouldn't do it, but I think it's a really cool idea for those who want to share. I mean, it's not like you have to have the camera pointed at you at all times or for the whole labor if you don't want to.

One thing though, I'd really read through the Terms of Service, make sure they can't store your video feed, sell it, or use it for promotional purposes or something.

i don't think i would, it's just not my thing. i didn't even let DH film any of Lily's birth and I requested that all pics be taken from above my shoulders. my SIL did get some pics of Lily coming out and stuff though. For this birth I want more pictures of the action, but still no video. So, since I can't see myself having it filmed just for us, then I definitely can't see myself posting it for people to see live.
