Did you eat during your labor? How about right after? What kinds of food did you munch on?

During the start of my labor, I snacked on popcorn. That was the only time I ate during labor, I tend to get sick during labor.

After, my midwives made us scrambled eggs and toast

Just munched on the popcorn

I was in early labor through out the day, and I remember us having steak for dinner. I didn't each much though. I didn't eat during labor, and afterwards I went to bed, since it was like 4am. I did eat breakfast a few hours later.

My DH got a ton of food, then they had a hard time getting me to even drink water. Go figure! If I had been hungry, I had yogurt, popsicles, and string cheese, plus orange juice in addition to the water. I plan on stocking up on all of that this time, just in case. But I also tend to be sick during labor, so I want easily pukable stuff available. So wrong!

When irregular contrax started was after during dinner- calzone and hot wings

Early in the morning had a few bites of fruit....later on had a strawberry/orange popiscle and drank vitamin water. Right after birth drank coconut water and our MW made cheesy scrambled eggs and toast.

I usually have crackers and cheese during labor. After Eleanor was born we had potstickers and strawberry shortcake - it was so good.

I ate a popsicle but I really wasn't hungry. I had planned on chicken enchiladas after the birth, but we had to transfer. I grabbed a banana on my way out the door and was very glad I did. They starved me after and that banana and popsicle ended up being all I had for over 36 hours.
