How long do your appointments normally last? DO you bring your younger children with you?

most of the time I took my kids. They would range from 30 minutes to an hour long. My postpartum appointment a couple days ago lasted and hour and a half!

My last appt was an hour, but we had to cover a lot of information since my pregnancy history takes a while to go through each pregnancy. (This is my 11th pregnancy so it just seemed to take forever just covering that.) I brought Leo with and she had tons of toys for him to play with. It was awesome.

Ours are 1 hour, and we bring Hunter sometimes. My parent's house is on the way to our Midwife and my mom does in home daycare, so most of the time Hunter wants to go there and play while we are at the appointment.

My appointments usually last 30 minutes to an hour. The last one lasted 2 hours because they were so far behind. DH and I were not happy since we had somewhere else we needed to be.

No we don't take DS with us. We took him with us once. I think it was to my 6 week post partum appointment after he was born.

They lasted 45mins to an hour. There were times we had to bring Gage because I don't have a baby sitter unless my mom is off work.

When I had my appointments at home they were usually an hour and my kids were present. My midwife has moved to an office now but we still plan to bring the kids so they can hear the heartbeat.

Both times that I've seen her, it's been about an hour. I'm expecting my next one (next week) to be shorter, probably more like a half hour. Jonah went with me the first time I met with her. MIL always offers to watch him, and he is so little still that he doesn't understand, so it's nice to not have to worry about what he's into while we're doing the appointment.

My MW appointments usually last an hour to 1:30. Depends on how much stuff we get to talking about!
