I had a midwife appointment today. I didn't really want to go, because it is snowing here quite a bit, and I was just getting on a role of doing housework LOL
But after I went, I was glad. Baby's heartrate was 150-160's, and he/she had the hiccups! That was cute to hear I got the info I need to schedule the anatomy scan, which I am really glad about. I just want to know that Baby is okay.
The midwife confirmed that the baby is pretty much to my left side. which I kind of already knew. My belly is SOOO lopsided LOL. She also gave me some helpful tips for controlling the foot and leg cramps that I've been having in the evenings and at night. I thought I needed more potassium but she said that it could actually be an imbalance of magnesium to calcium, or it could just be that the muscles in my feet aren't used to this shift in weight (I got really big really fast with this one!)
My blood pressure is low, 90/52. That's only slightly lower than usual for me, but I have been having dizzy spells and fainting so she said that's probably why. She also said it's probably why I've been craving salt... and I mean like I just want to eat spoonfulls of it! She said if I want salt, then I need to eat salt.
That's it, really! Just thought I'd update. Once I get the house cleaned from the holiday frenzy, I'll be back on here more often
