How far away is your midwife from you and does she come to you or you go to her?

If we're meeting at my Student Midwife's house it's only about 30 minutes for me... If we meet at the clinic of my Student's predecessor, it's a 2 hr drive one way.

My midwives are about 30-40 minutes away. I go to them, then at 36 weeks after, they come to me.

Her office is about 45 minutes away, but she lives about 5 minutes from us. She did home visits until a few months ago so this is my first pregnancy with her that I've gone to an office.

They're about 20-30 minutes away. I go to them until I hit 36 weeks, then they come to me. And for postpartum appts they come to me.

Same as above. A half hour away, and I go to her until 36 weeks.

Mine is an hour and 15 minutes away. I go to her, but she comes to me once during the last month and then of course for the delivery.

An hour by bus. I don't drive. I have no idea after 36 weeks - it'd be nice if she come here!

It takes about 30 minutes to go to my midwives office/birth center (although there are several midwives closer to me, one right down the street--but I love my midwife!). She starts coming to me next week (36 weeks).
