Hi ladies, my name is Rina and I am 22 weeks pregnant with my second child. I live 3 hours from the nearest hospital, and that hospital is not natural birth friendly at all. They require constant monitoring and an IV. That is not what I want at all. With DD, I had a hospital birth, but I had a midwife, labored in tub, and she was very hands off. That is the kind of experience I want again. I live 4 hours away from the nearest homebirth midwife.
So, my options are
1) get a hotel room (a few minutes from the hospital) and birth there with a midwife,
2) labor in a hotel room (a few minutes from the hospital) and then go to the hospital when I'm ready to push, or
3) just go to the hospital.
The homebirth midwife I've spoken to said she's done hotel births before for other women who live in very rural areas.
What would you do?
Thanks to JMC1988 for my wonderful siggy

It's great to see you over here Rina!!! I've been wondering how everything has been going for you this pregnancy. Personally, I'd opt for the hotel birth near the hospital. I fear that if you'd actually go to the hospital that they'd force themselves on you. Good luck and KUP!
