What did you/will you wear to labor in? Have you thought about this much? If you've already had a home birth what worked for you?

All three of mine I"ve labored in a sports bra. Before getting in the tub I usually have on some loose fitting pajama bottoms too.

I've been thinking of getting some really long tshirt like pajamas to labor in. I'd like to have something that's easy to get on and off, but haven't quite figured out what I want.

I labored in a very loose fitting Old Navy cotton dress. Almost like a swimsuit cover...it was nice and loose and didn't constrict me in any way. Although when things got intense I was laboring buck naked which I hadn't planned on doing at all. I actually was so into what I was doing I am not sure when I lost the dress and was kind of unaware I was naked..lol

I think I'll be in a sports bra and pants as well, or maybe shorts since it will be June. I'm really uncomfortable being naked, even during labor.

I'll probably do a tank and loose pants until I get in the tub... Then I'll probably keep the tank.

With Thomas I had planned to wear a nursing gown (more like a long shirt, it was so short on me) but ended up stripping naked. With Hope, I wore a t-shirt. With Mary Mae, I again ended up naked. SO, I'm guessing I'll probably end up in my birthday suit again, especially since it will be late June or early July.

For my first birth I wore dress pajama thing, it had a tank top strap though. Was very light and comfy. I'll probably just be in a bikini top or nursing bra this next time as I'll be having a waterbirth. Probably wear a night gown before I get into the water.

last time I started out with a tankini top and quickly ended up naked. I plan to have on a sports bra and skirty before getting in the pool and then keeping the sports bra, but who knows? I'll probably end up naked as a jaybird again. LOL.

I'm with you on the naked thing. I am not really that modest, but it just I don't know makes me uncomfortable.

I will probably wear a sports bra or something close to that. It just seems so much more comfortable than a gown or a shirt.

I'm a naked birther, clothing irritates me when I'm not pregnant or in labor.

heeheehee - my first reaction is naked. probably will be how it ends up. I'm not modest and if I'm hurting clothes - especially any sort of bra will make me angry. This is funny - I never even thought about it before. Guess I better stay at home - I can just see the looks on the poor inturns faces when the see my but naked body.

I had DD in a hospital, and I was naked during most of the labor. I got in the tub and didn't want to wear anything so I was naked for a long time. However, I did put on a gown when I got out because I was cold. It was just DH, me, a nurse, and my MW, so not big deal. I'll probably wear nothing again this time.

I wore a very soft, thin, large take top and that was perfect, I'll probably do that again
