I think its great when natural birthing mamas speak up about their experiences. Seems for a while there all we heard about were celebrities scheduling elective c-sections. I'm always happy to see stories like this!

Maybe I'm alone in this but I'm getting tired of all these famous moms who give birth and are "back in shape" within weeks, then they go and share their "secrets".

"Oh I was doing ten miles on the treadmill and a hundred sit-ups by the time Junior was three days old, and I only eat Greek yogurt and fresh citrus fruits. Now Baby is two weeks old and I'm a size zero again."

Just realized that's a little OT.. WTG, Giselle.

I agree about the post baby body crap...how on earth can they do that and nurse? I assume she's nursing? Heidi Klum too who is apparently a big advocate for natural birth and breastfeeding. The first year of breastfeeding I ate enough for two people.

I'm glad she finally mentioned something though. No drama, no photo op ten minutes after the birth, I like how mellow they are.

My guess is that she didn't gain a lot of weight while pregnant anyways. I gained 20lbs with Lily and it fell off pretty much immediately, but I'm on the larger side anyway so no supermodel body here.

I was thinking about this and it seems like there are quite a few supermodels who do NCB and even home birth. I know Cindy Crawford has spoken out about having both her kids at home and I think there were some others as well.

I am tired of everyone who's back in shape quickly as well...everyone around me is.
