If you do birth announcements, will you include on them that your baby was born at home?

I didn't with Kate, and looking back on it, I wish I had. I do plan on including that information on this baby's announcement.

Not on the announcement we mail, but we will in the e-mail that we'll send right after the birth. The announcement we mail will just have name, birthdate, length and weight probably.

Yup, it'll say place of birth, and we'll put our home.

We haven't sent out birth announcements since Daniel was born. Maybe we will this time around... if we do I'm sure we'll mention something about "born at home".

We will include it!

My sister (who also had a homebirth) designed hers, and used a pic of my niece as the back-round, then put on the right side;
"name"
born at home, into the
loving arms of her daddy
"date/time"
"weight/length"

...and then she included in the bottom corner; Thank you for all the kindness, generosity, & love you have shown to our family! Love, ------- .

So that took care of both the announcements, and the thank you notes!

My mom made a birth announcement for my brother and SIL when my nephew was born and it said something about being born at home.

We are having a home birth, but it won't be in our home...it will be at my midwife's house. So I can't include that baby was born at home, but maybe something like "born into the loving arms of daddy".
