Did you or do you plan on spending any of your labor outside?

I might walk around the neighborhood a bit, I did the same with Lily after my water broke but before contractions really started up.

With my first my MW made me take a walk outside to get her to move down a bit (there's no space to walk in my house). Thankfully it was july and warm despite being 5am. It was kinda weird, but since it was early no one was up to watch me

I took a nice walk with DH around 8pm about an hour before labor really kick started into gear. I think I might labor outside some more this time. I find our backyard and deck area really relaxing and pretty private.

I walked outside a lot with my labor with Reid. I remember the night my water broke DH and I walked and looked up at the stars and made our last predictions on gender/weight/length. It is one of my favorite memories from his labor. When Eleanor was born we had a huge storm and tornado moving through so I didn't go outside. Chances are it will be to warm to be comfortable outside when this little one is born but if it's a cooler day I will probable walk or sit outside during labor.

I plan on going on a walk in early labor...With my last, it was too cold to be outside much during labor, but the day before was beautiful, and DH and I went on a LONG walk (labor started that night!)...I'm due in September, so hopefully the weather will be nice!

I would LOVE to. But seeing as it is freezing...I don't think it will be much of an option this go around. With my DD I sat out on my porch for like 3 hours after my water broke before going to the hospital...

Depends on how the weather is - but it should be nice - and after a long winter nothing feels as good as spring. I hope to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air in my yard!

With my first, it was July, DH and I walked around the block a few times. But eventually it got way too hot for that. This baby is due middle of April, and it's usually pretty nice out by then. Snow is gone and t-shirt weather. I'm hoping to go for a walk with my family while in labor and waiting for the Midwife to show up.
