I know its been talked about before... but now I'm starting to think more about what I'll wear. I think I'm leaning towards a black sports bra and black capris or shorts. Obviously when I get into the tub I'll lose the pants... but we'll see. I'm pretty modest, even during labor. What did you end up wearing?

I did sports bra and short/leggings for my last two births. Worked out great for photos because I was still covered enough to be able to share them with others

I wore a black sports bra, a black tee of DH and some sweat pants or pj pants- can't remember now....but eventually took those off and was just in a sports bar and my robe and then in the tub just the bra.

I had a nice top-of-the-thigh length nursing nightshirt that I planned to wear for my labor with Thomas... ended up nekkid which is pretty funny considering at the time I wouldn't even wear pants in public and "lack of modesty" was one of the main things I hated about birthing in the hospital. I just got real hot all of a sudden.

Ended up doing the exact same thing when Mary was born- started out in the same nightshirt, ended up stripping during transition. So, this time around, I figure it doesn't really matter what I'm wearing during labor so long as it is easy to get out of should I need to, LOL!

I was in the hospital and never gave it a thought before the birth so I brought nothing with me I really think I may have been naked towards the end for a few hours, I was in and out of the tub and the last thing on my mind was what I was wearing! I hope someone gave me a gown.

When I was laboring I wore a tank top with my bikini top underneath and shorts. We did a lot of walking outside so I put on pj pants for that. When I got into the pool I was just in my bikini top, but ended up not liking the pool, but I stayed just in the top and delivered about 3 or so hours later.

I think in early labor I will just wear normal comfy clothes because I think I will want to go outside, but once intense labor starts I'll probably not want to leave and I'll probably want to be as naked as possible. I have my maternity bathing suit that I'm planning on wearing the top, and then my old robe (don't care if it gets ruined) We'll see if I want to put something different on... maybe something on my bottom half when I'm out of the tub

Nope, I too am a naked birther. I find clothing unbelievably uncomfortable during pregnancy and even worse during labor. I was still self conscious but at least I was comfy.
