I had my 14 week visit yesterday. All went/is well, thankfully! Urine fine. Blood pressure normal. Belly check fine. Baby's heart rate is 160.
Had my blood checked for Rh- antibodies and iron- hope both come back ok.
Discussed about Rhogam injection (Anti-D) when I want it, since I'm O negative. I don't want it during pregnancy again, so declined that at 28 and 34 weeks, since that is when they do it here. I told her if baby is Rh+ like Zane was then I will have the injection within 72 hours after birth at home. And of course if trauma/accident or bleeding happens during pregnancy then I will probably get it then as well. MW is going to make sure here it is Mercury Free.
I love having home visits, so great, since I don't have to go anywhere, makes life much easier with a toddler. He was very good during the appointment, he enjoyed playing with the tape measure and doppler- which he knew where to use it at - he put it on his tummy. Smart boy! He started to dance when he heard the baby's heartbeat. It was too cute.
Next visit will be in a lil over 3 weeks, since in 4 weeks we'll have my family in town and it'll be hectic. Thankfully she understood
Can't believe I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow and we find out the gender, hoping and praying this baby cooperates, in 9 days!!!
