Okay... I don't post here much, but hopefully you can point me the right direction for some information!
I know all it takes to have a baby is a pregnant mommy (lol), but... our midwife is in the hospital at least overnight (sincerely hoping and praying that is ALL, since I haven't been able to get June 6 out of my head for MONTHS), so we need a crash course in birthing unassisted if the need arises. We're hoping the need doesn't arise, but being a couple of days overdue already, there's the potential! I have asked about alternate people and numbers in case we do go into labour, but we want to be prepared anyway. So... anyone got some good links??
None at the moment-- there was a real mess with regard to her assistants in connection with her and they went their separate ways about 2.5-3 weeks ago. The assistants did something that caused someone to need major surgery, and she refused to allow them to continue practising with her. She has someone lined up to be working with her who is just waiting on her licensing (has done all the qualifications though), and an assistant/apprentice, but we don't have their numbers, because she JUST got them in the last few days. Makes for a wonderful mess right now, lol!
