I've been feeling antsy and weird all day, having mild cx off and on, visiting the bathroom a lot... Wondering, could this be it? I called in to work just in case; I'll feel really silly if nothing happens now.

Definitely exciting..... definitely how I felt the whole day before Paul was born. In fact I wasn't convinced it was true labor until about an hour or 2 before he was born, LOL!

well, I went and opened my big mouth and nothing. LOL! After I went to bed the cx completely stopped. I slept great, only had to get up three times to pee even.

Last time I put off calling mw until I was certain I was in labor.. Mary Mae arrived much quicker than the midwife. I promised I'd give her advance notice this time, but I still feel silly for not knowing whether or not it was the "real thing". This is my 8th baby, afterall!

It's so hard to tell! With my 3rd, labor was 4 days long. I can only imagine how many times a mw would have been out to my house.

thanks for asking. We're doing fine... appt. today went perfect. Today is the official Due Date. All my other kids were born before their due dates, so going past will be a unique experience for me. I was really hoping to wake up this morning with a healthy baby at my feet. Alas, didn't happen.

Sorry, that should say appointment "yesterday". It's early.... LOL
