I had very minimal back pain during my pregnancy with Lucy, but since a few days after she was born, I've had constant pain in my tailbone. Any ideas why, and what I might do? TIA!

Could you have bruised your tailbone? Or even have broken it? I know that can sometimes happen during the pushing process.

((HUGS))

Other than your tailbone, how are you and Lucy Marie doing?

I have had good luck seeing a chiropractor after birth to get everything back into alignment. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I think seeing a chiropractor is a great idea. I keep meaning to call mine, but I forget. LOL

I'd love to see a chiro but that would be impossible. Maybe I'll give the mw a call and see what she thinks.

Other than that I'm doing real good. I've already lost what I gained during this pregnancy! (Now to tackle leftover weight from the others...) Lucy is doing well, as far as we know. According to the scale at the WIC clinic she only weighs 8lb, 2oz and she measured only 19.5 inches long. We had her measurements at birth as 8lb 5oz and 22" long... supposedly she weighed 8lb, 6oz when midwife visited @ 5 days old. So I just don't know what to think about that.

My back was pretty darn sore after Israel was born. He was posterior and I think all the back labor did it for me.

I had the same exact tail bone pain after my second child was born. She was 12 hours of labor, and I'm not sure what I did to cause the pain, but it took almost three weeks for it to go away. I feel your pain!
