I know it is recommended by many to start taking Evening Primrose oil orally at 36ish weeks, and vaginally at 38ish weeks to help soften your cervix, etc...

I also know it is very good to take during menstruation to help balance your hormones.

So has anyone taken it during their postpartum period? Did it help and would you recommend it to others?

I've never taken it PP, but I have heard from others that it is helpful and can even help with PP hormones.

I have heard others swear by it, when I asked my MW she seemed indifferent.
