How vocal are you about your homebirth choices to strangers or acquaintances? If for some reason the conversation is about birth or pregnancy, do you immediately talk about your homebirth plans?

I'm vocal but not very loud about it. I do talk about it when talking about birth and pregnancy. I do mention that I've had one and am planning another. I don't push my views, i answer questions that are asked. Because really, when you're in those discussions people will mention their choice of a hospital birth or birth center, I will mention my choice of home birth.

I advocate it but I'm not militant about it, if that makes sense haha.

If it comes up. I'm still selective though since we UC. Don't want any loonies calling CPS on us or something.

I'm fairly vocal, but don't through it out to just anyone...If they ask, or if I feel it's appropriate, I'll mention our choices...Most of my family, and all my close friends already know I am VERY pro NCB, and most also know we are planning a HB.

I'm vocal about it. I dno't just jump into it, but if the topic comes up I say I've had a homebirth and hospital birth.

I'm vocal if it comes up. Of course when people find out our choices they have a ton of questions and I love answering them, lol.

I tell people if they ask, but mostly I keep it to myself. We didn't tell DH's parents last time (and didn't tell them what hospital when we had to induce... didn't tell them we were inducing either, LOL), and we didn't tell them until they directly asked this time. We do let everyone at our end of the street know we're planning one though... and I'm sure with all the excitement surrounding Elias' birth, they're going to be watching to see what happens next time, hehe...
