Did you have one (or are you planning one) for your homebirth baby?

Nope. Had one with our first, and for our second we already had everything we needed.

I actually get to say YES!!! I haven't had a shower since my first...and the onlychild I didn't NEED one was my second LOL...then we had NOTHING for our third...got rid of it all thinking we were done for the fourth....have no room to store anything and EVERYTHING is getting worn out now so by the 5th...I'm SO ready for a celebration and shower!

Though I think EVERY baby is worth celebrating...I think it's sad they only offer that in some areas on first babies....so I'm VERY thankful I have a friend who thinks every baby is a celebration...

Anyway...So I DO get to have one...not sure when it'll be...probably April

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

We will just have a Blessing Way to celebrate my pregnancy and the upcoming birth. My midwife throws one for all of her women and I'm so excited about it!

I had one for my first and my third babies. My third was 4.5 years later and my first girl. I needed one for my fourth but oh well!

I have since decided to quit thinking I am done and getting rid of things lol, that backfires on me every time!

I did. I don't think I will have one for future babies. We got the "kickstart" of stuff, and I think we're set. We're not big "stuff" users for babies anyway.

We're not big stuff users either, but it's a good opportunity for family to come from other states to see each other. It's nice to "stock up" on all those little items you use.... wash clothes, wipes, diapers (if disposable), onesies, sleepers, blankets, toys that aren't infected/broken/slobbered on already LOL!!

Oh man, if my family would come from out of state, I would totally have one for every kid. Michigan to Texas is a loooong trip!

yeah we aren't big into "stuff" either....but by the time I had my THIRD everything was broken down and ruined and needed replaced....PLUS I didn't have the same views as now....I can register for products that are chemical free...I have an online registry for cloth diapers...etc....I dont expect STUFF....but it's fun to get together and celebrate....I basically have only a bouncy chair! LOL..oh and a boppy. LOL....

When my friend had her shower (her baby just turned one...she's the one throwing the shower)...they did a "tie dye" party...they had a ton of prepped shirts and onsies (for the first year so all diff sizes) ready for tie dying and then had a lot of dye....and all the guests got to make a shirt....SO fun and SO cute...I love tie dye so I think I'm going to have her redo that idea for me. I can't wait!

had a teeny one with DS #1 but since we're overseas, babyshowers aren't a thing here so not having one I wish we did, cause we needed everything so we had to buy it all over again! Even though it's another boy- as everything's in the US in storage...and it would have costed too much to ship it out of storage than to buy it all here. We'll just re-sale it when we move back, if we move back.

I've had baby showers for each kid and they were all a big disappointment. I think with the next I might do a blessingway. A friend of mine did one a few months ago and it was super cool!
